Inspiration at Work’s Research

Alexandra has conducted proprietary research on American jobs and careers, the future of the global workforce, the impact of AI, leadership, employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and generational differences. Typically sponsored by organizations looking to broaden their thought-leadership footprint, Alexandra’s research process incorporates statistically significant sampling, questionnaire development, electronic survey distribution, phone interviewing, data analysis, report writing, and media outreach. In the last two decades, she has worked on more than 50 research studies surveying nearly 10 million individuals. Some highlights include:

National Institutes of Health

Inspiration at Work recently finished a federal grant from the National Institute of Mental Health to create a resource for unemployed individuals struggling with emotional distress. The product, serving as the cornerstone of a clinical trial conducted with Northwestern University and the University of Chicago, was shown to be statistically significant in improving job seekers positive affect and motivation, and in getting people back to work sooner.

ManpowerGroup Global Insights

Alexandra came in on the ground floor of the development of global staffing giant ManpowerGroup’s global insights function, including creating more than a dozen white papers based on billions of internal and external ManpowerGroup data points and a blog series on the future of work that reached an estimated 10 million readers. Alexandra is a frequent guest on MPG sponsored podcasts and at client events, and her 2026 global workforce trends are currently being leveraged as talking points for MPG’s c-suite executive presentations across the globe.

Alexandra worked with Deloitte to develop and execute a multi-national, multi-generation research study on the current state of millennial leadership. She joined Deloitte and partner Billie Jean King Leadership Initiative to create a thought leadership campaign around the changing views of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
